This month has been one of my favourites. I started the month by celebrating my birthday and handing in my dissertation (finally) and I am now about to go home for a week or so over Easter – A well deserved break from Uni!
We did start the month off with lots of snow, but March is the month we start to approach the warmer weather of spring and our wardrobe and colour choices change, so here are my 5 favourite things for this month…
‘After You’ by Jojo Moyes
Now I have eventually got my dissertation out of the way and only have studio work to worry about, I can now start my new years resolutions (only 2 months late). One was to start blogging, doing a blog post each weekend, which so far I have. The other was to read more. So, I have begun by reading JoJo Moyes, ‘After You,’ as I loved ‘Me Before You,’ so much I thought I would give her other books ago, and I have not been disappointed.
Its a lovely read with a beautiful story, which follows on from her book ‘Me Before You’. I would highly recommend any of her books.

ELF Brownie Points Smudge Pot
This was a birthday present and I already love it. This smooth gel formula glides on perfectly, used as a long-lasting eyeshadow or eyeliner! It is so pigmented, even just a swirl inside the pot gives amazing pigmentation. It doesn’t crease and it doesn’t smudge easily either, it also lasts the entire day.
Paperbag trousers and roll necks
I love all the new funky trousers everyone is wearing recently, especially these paperbag ones from Pretty Little Thing. As its still chilly outside they are really cute with a roll neck top and chunky boots. I have been looking for a dark grey roll neck for ages and had to borrow my friends. I feel I am a bit late as all the summer clothes are coming out at the moment, but if anyone knows anywhere I could get one, please let me know!! You could even dress them up for a night out with a lace body and heels! They are great for every occasion and can be super smart for work or an interview!
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
I don’t even know how to start expressing just how amazing this moisturiser is. I got a tester of this when I bought some make up from Charlotte Tilbury the other week and honestly the first time I used it I could feel the difference. My skin felt amazing and so soft, and made my foundation last longer. The only issue is the price tag!!!
Revolution Life on the Dance floor Guest List Palette
As spring is approaching I am wanting to add more colour to my outfits. Like most people, I love wearing all black or grey, so decided the best way to add colour is through my makeup, especially with eyeshadows. I love the Naked Heat palette, just not the price. For my birthday my flatmates got me this palette, which contains colours very similar to the Naked palette as well as some darker and brighter colours. They are so pigmented and a great way of adding a pop of colour to a smokey eye for a night out.
