As you know a few weeks ago I made a lovely trip to Edinburgh to be reunited with my friends from study abroad. Last Wednesday I shared with you the second place we went to for food, Blue Bear Cafe and the week before The Newsroom, which you should also go read about. But this week I am going to share with you, a short little post, about the final place that we stopped at on the Saturday for a little bite to eat, Civerinos Slice.
Civerinos Slice is a cute, quirky pizza bar situated in Edinburgh. There is a couple dotted around so you are bound to pass one when you are there. Its brightly coloured with original wallpaper and quotes written on the walls. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and also extremely attentive. Civerinos slice serve a variety of pizza, as slices or full pizzas, making it a great place to stop for a light lunch, a pizza to share between friends/family or for an evening meal.
On my visit I went for the ‘Parmigiana’ which consisted of Sugo (their own recipe tomato sauce), Mozzarella Di Bufala, Aubergine, Shaved Parmesan and Fresh Basil which was £4.50 for the slice and we also got a box of fries to share. The fries had an amazing, tasty seasoning on, they were probably some of the best fries I have ever had. The pizza was also delicious, a nice thin crispy base, topped with plenty of cheese. It was mouth-watering! Their drinks selection is also great, as they had flavours of San Pellagrino I had never come across.
This was such a cute little place, which I would deffo go back to when I am back in Scotland. Its the perfect catch up spot with old friends!
Make sure you check out their website and find a Civerinos nearest to you, you won’t regret it – https://www.civerinosslice.com/civ-slice
I hope you enjoyed my review of Civerinos Slice and have loved all my other reviews from my trip to Edinburgh.
Also, don’t forget that every Friday at 5 pm I post a new review, good or bad, of all the places I go to (mainly in West Yorkshire).
