Parklife Festival, Manchester ♥

On Sunday me and my girls went to Parklife. It was a very wet/muddy day full of glitter, laughter, dancing, drinking and of course, food! We got up early, covered ourselves in glitter and neon green. (remembering to take plenty of pictures along the way)

When we first arrived I thought it was best to get some food before the queues started forming, so we headed over to Eat New York, where I grabbed a Salt Beef Bagel. Hot salt beef, pickle-slaw, rocket and French’s mustard, all for £8.50. This may seem pricey for a bagel but at a festival you expect to a pay a little more. This was packed full of tender beef and great washed down with a Smirnoff ice. My sister got a bacon cheeseburger which also looked amazing!

Check them out over on their website – They even deliver on Just Eat!

Near the end of the festival I started to get hungry again and the Macaroni and cheese with crispy smokey bacon rashers from Crooked Kitchens was calling my name (£8). Crooked Kitchen use their three cheese sauce, consisting of a bechamel base with lashings of melted mature cheddar, mozzarella and veggie Parmesan. It was super cheesy, perfect with the bacon, however they slightly over did it with the pepper. However this was a great dish to warm myself back up in the rain.

Why not book them for a festival or event you are having –

We had a great day dancing away to Blossoms, Khalid, Mabel and more. We certainly didn’t look like the pictures on the train home that evening. We were all very tired, muddy and cold, but safe to say we had one of the best days –

I hope you enjoyed my post on Parklife and I cant wait to share all about the other festivals and events I have planned this summer.

Love, Macknezie x (1)
